Fear the Walking Dead Season 4 Episode 12 Review

Slowly merely surely, nosotros're one step closer in getting the ring back together.

On Fright the Walking Dead Season four Episode 12, Morgan connected his trek dorsum west in hopes of helping his friends. Meanwhile, June and Althea were trying to recover from the rampage of the tempest.

It took 3 episodes, but we were finally able to cheque in on Al and June, who were left having walkers hurled at them from the budgeted hurricane on Fear the Walking Expressionless Season 4 Episode 9.

Dead Zone - Fear the Walking Dead Season 4 Episode 12

June watching John's video repeatedly was so sweet. She tin can try to play it down all she wants, but the feelings she has for John are self-evident.

These "stories" that Al has captured have proven to be useful in tough situations.

Alicia needed to watch Madison'due south video on Fearfulness the Walking Dead Season 4 Episode 8. It was her darkest time and provided her with some much-needed closure.

June watching John's interview provided her with like comfort. Since she couldn't physically talk to him, that video was the next all-time thing. In fact, June watched it so many times that she killed the battery in the photographic camera.

Y'all could tell that Al was clearly pissed about the dead battery, only she also understood June'due south position. Al has spent so much time and try documenting everyone's story that she's come across. So if one of those captured stories is able to aid just one person, it's been well worth it.

Not Running Away

It was squeamish to acquire that vehicles actually Do run out of fuel. Over the years -- on both shows -- it has seemed as if fuel is readily available in abundance to the survivors, so to actually see June and Al scavenging for Diesel was a welcome change. Simply low gas wasn't the just issue the duo faced.

When Al's van ended upward getting stolen, my initial reaction was complete disbelief.

Althea is a smart adult female, so why in the bluish hell would she leave the freaking keys in the dang van? I only could not wrap my mind effectually that decision. Particularly given the fact that all of Al's videotapes were in there, which we know holds pregnant importance to her.

If you lot leave your keys in a vehicle, y'all're just asking for trouble.

And lo and behold, that'southward exactly what happened when fellow survivor, Quinn, decided to take the van for a joy ride. Fortunately, he didn't know it was dangerously depression on fuel and didn't arrive very far.

Now I don't know about you, simply checking the gas guess is one of the starting time things that I do when I turn on the ignition. The last thing I'd want is to exist stuck in the center of nowhere.

Admittedly, I was a bit concerned when Al fell ill, as those symptoms seemed all too familiar.

We've lost too many characters this season already; I'll be damned if we were about to lose newcomer Althea! Not that I had any say in the affair, but information technology would have been another huge accident in a season that has had a penchant for killing off its master cast.

Who You Gonna Call? - Fear the Walking Dead Season 4 Episode 11

June was concerned with getting Al proper medicine, while Al was more concerned with simply getting the van back, which supposedly contained said medicine.

June'due south reluctance in leaving Al behind was expected, equally she'south had terrible experiences in like scenarios. You can tell that June is trying so hard to be a better person, a person that we all know she can be. Case in signal with June trying to convince Quinn that in that location is a style to help each other and coexist.

Old June would have but fled the moment she left Althea. She's definitely grown significantly over the last scattering of episodes.

June: Where is the medicine?
Althea: There isn't any. I just wanted to get the van back.

In the end, in that location was no medicine in the van after all, as Althea just needed a good alibi to have June reclaim the van. I don't arraign June for being upset, only at least now she knows what information technology feels like to be on the other stop of cant.

One thing that fabricated me ringlet my eyes was learning that the bus which was overturned xx feet from the van, just happened to take the proper meds to treat Al.

That's ane hell of a coinkidink, isn't it?

A Bad Feeling - Fear the Walking Dead Season 4 Episode 12

The practiced news is that Althea will recover, and then considering of that, I'm willing to forgive that quick and convenient resolution.

More good news? Just when all hope seemed to be lost, Morgan'due south radio transmission was able to aid June and Al in finding him.

With all of the positive outcomes during this episode, the same tin't exist said for the closing moments, every bit Quinn came confront to face with the Filthy Woman's pet walker.

The whole duplicate mile marking twist surprised me, but not in a good way.

Did the Filthy Adult female just change that one sign since she knew the number of the real marking that June was waiting at? If that's the instance, how did Quinn non realize that the mile markers leading upwards to 27 weren't going in sequential order?

Obviously he was looking at the previous markers, information technology's the simply way he'd detect the one he was looking for. You know very well that the woman wasn't changing every unmarried mile marker.

Ain't nobody got time for that!

I don't know what to brand of the Filthy Adult female. She feels like bizarro Michonne, as she has a pet walker, simply instead of using it for protection, she uses it against others.

Filthy Woman - Fear the Walking Dead Season 4 Episode 12

What'south nearly interesting, is that she discarded her old walker, Purvis, for a fresh walker. It was similar trading in your car after the lease is up.

Why switch up the walkers? Is there some rationale backside information technology? Do they break down later accruing a certain amount of mileage? What gives?

Sure, the mile marker ruse was a groovy twist that showcased what this woman is capable up, only it had more than holes in it than a bullet-riddled walker.

Morgan: Things are tough out here, I know. That box, what's in at that place... it helped me. It could help you too.
Filthy Adult female: I don't demand any help. I'grand not weak.

So at present that this woman has commandeered Al's van, what is her plan? Not but is she in possession of the videotapes, but she also has those big ass guns!

That's certain to be an upshot for the group.

Here For Beer - Fear the Walking Dead Season 4 Episode 12

To be honest, I expected a scrap more out of this episode. I wanted to relish it, but information technology felt a bit wearisome. Sure, it reunited function of the group, but the path to getting there felt a bit monotonous.

Dorie and Strand are ii of the most enthralling characters on this series, so let's hope that the upcoming state of affairs those two get thrown into will brand for a more entertaining episode.

Now allow'due south hear from you, Fear-natics!

What did you think of "Weak"? What could the "Filthy Lady" have planned with Al'due south van? Now that Morgan, Althea, and June have establish each other, will the trio be able to rail downwardly the rest of the group?
